“That the way baseball go”

That the way baseball go. – Ron Washington

If you didn’t know, the Texas Rangers magic number is 6.  So, I’ve worked on a couple of Rangers inspired pieces over the weekend.  On actual Topps baseball cards.  The finished pieces were trimmed down to approx 8″x10″.

Thanks for looking.

“Strikeouts are boring. Besides that, they’re fascist.”

“A good friend of mine used to say, ‘This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.’ Think about that for a while.”  – from Bull Durham

Baseball is the subject today.  Each piece is hand painted, no prints.
