I’ve always seen it as the role of an artist to drag his inside out, give the audience all you’ve got. Writers, actors, singers, all good artists do the same. It isn’t supposed to be easy.

Appearance Alert!!!
I only do a few of these a year, and one is coming up. I am pretty excited to announce that I will be at the North Texas Comic Book Show on October 6th.
I’ll have some artist return sketch cards with me, some original art, and other assorted goodies.
A quick sneak peek at a couple of things I’m working on for the show.
Pictures must not be too picturesque. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
It’s a new year, so I’ve changed up the site just a bit. Big things are instore for 2012, Marvel Beginnings 2, The Avengers Movie, and Tarzan are a couple of the trading card sets I’ll be doing sketch cards for. In fact, my Tarzan cards are completed and ready to send back to Cryptozoic. I don’t know the actual release date, but when I do I’ll update everyone. And once my cards are approved, I’ll flip them over and show a couple off. Let’s just say that I’ve not seen sketch cards done like this before. Hopefully they will be well received as it wasn’t easily done.
Don’t forget I’m also open for commission work. Prices vary with size of course. 2012 is going to be a super busy year for me artistically, so if you want on the commission list, now’s the time to get on it. Here are a couple of quick examples of a couple of commission pieces.
Also, look for me at the Dallas Comic Con in May. Once I have confirmation of my table assignment, I’ll be sure to let everyone know. Patrick Stewart will be there too, so make your plans to attend.
The task of art today is to bring chaos into order. – Theodor Adorno
Two words:
Fade Away.
Nothing else needs to be said.
In case you haven’t heard, the Dallas Mavericks have won the 2011 NBA Championship. To celebrate that, a few new floorboards with the trophy.
And don’t forget about the CBLDF cards due out this summer from Cryptozic.
Read all about it here. It’s a great cause. Here are the cards I did for the set.
Stay tuned, there is more coming soon. Including War of the Worlds cards from Cult-Stuff, and tons of Star Wars stuff for Fan Days in October.
Thanks, Jason
