Here is a recently completed piece I did of Brandon Snyder 1B for the Texas Rangers currently on the 40 man roster.  Hopefully he’s with the Rangers for a while.

Brandon R. Snyder (born November 11, 1986 in Las Vegas metropolitan area, Nevada) is a first baseman who is currently on the Texas Rangers 40-man roster.

Snyder was a 1st round draft pick by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2005 MLB Draft.

Snyder made is MLB debut on September 10, 2010 against the Detroit Tigers. He came in as a defensive replacement in the 9th inning. His first Major League hit, an RBI single, came against the Toronto Blue Jays on September 13, 2010 off of Blue Jay’s pitcher Marc Rzepczynski in the 2nd inning.

Snyder played 6 games on 2 separate stints with the Orioles in 2011.

Here is a commission piece I completed this past weekend.  Nolan Ryan is the subject.  It’s done on wood, and it measures 48″x24″.  This is by far the largest commission piece I’ve been asked to do.  It was a neat project, and I think it turned out pretty neat.

As always thanks for stopping by and taking a look.  Commissions are always available.  And don’t forget to sign up for notifications of new posts.

Had a pretty cool piece commissioned. Ron Washington is the manager for the Texas Rangers.  I was approached to do a piece for a Christmas present for a huge Ron Washington fan.

And here is the result.  I wound up doing three to get it right, the other two are available in the shop.
